Welcome to our Parish

Due to the recent lockdown we are no longer able to hold public masses. The church is able to open for funerals and private prayer only. Fr Michael will continue to live stream mass each day which will be held in private.

Private Prayer - Sacred Heart will open 10am-11am on Mon, Tues and Friday, 10.30am-11.30am on Saturday and 9.30am-10.30am on Sunday each week until 3rd December 2020.

Live Streaming of Mass - Fr Michael will live stream Mass each day as per the parish calendar.

Christmas Masses 2020

We are proposing to hold the following Masses*

Christmas Eve Vigil 6.00pm and 8.00pm

Christmas Day 8.00am and 10.00am

We can only hold these Masses if we have enough volunteers to warden and then clean down the pews at the end of Mass. We need at least 5 volunteers per Mass. If you are able to volunteer please contact the Parish Office or talk to Sister Dominic after Private Prayer. Once all volunteers are in place we will publish Mass times and open up a booking system.

*subject to the lifting of current government restrictions

When visiting the Church we will ask for your contact details which will be kept for 21 days and then securely disposed of. Alternatively we have our own QR code which can be used if you have downloaded the NHS Covid 19 app.
Face coverings/masks must be worn whilst inside the church unless you are exempt. If you are exempt you will be directed to seating which is 2 metres from other pews to protect yourself and others.
