Times of weekday masses sometimes vary from week to week. Please consult our Weekly Bulletin, for the latest information.

Holy Days of Obligation 2019 ( 2020 )

Epiphany                              6th Jan 
Ascension                            30th May  (21st  May)
St Peter & St Paul                29th June 
Assumption                          15th Aug
All Saints                              1st November
Nativity of the Lord               25th December

There are only six Holy Days of Obligation which may be celebrated on weekdays. In addition to Christmas Day, these are Epiphany , Ascension ,  St Peter & St Paul , the Assumption of Our Lady  and All Saints. When these days  fall on a Saturday or a Monday, then the day is transferred to the nearest Sunday. This rule does not apply to Christmas Day.
Please note that other holy days, such as Ash Wednesday, Good Friday, the Immaculate Conception are not of obligation. In terms of mass times, Ash Wednesday is treated as if it were a Holy Day.
